Description

The Boston chapter of Spanish Scientists in the USA (ECUSA, Españoles Científicos en Estados Unidos), in collaboration with the Richi Childhood Cancer Foundation, is pleased to invite you to this free public program featuring an interactive presentation by Ricardo Garcia, founder and President of the Richi Childhood Cancer Foundation, followed by a networking reception. Ricardo will share with us his and his family's tough yet inspiring journey from Spain to Boston, which drove him to establish the Richi Foundation to fight childhood cancer and support families touched by childhood cancer.

Come join us at Pfizer’s new R&D hub in Cambridge to learn firsthand about how Ricardo's entrepreneurial spirit, passion, and personal commitment are empowering him and the foundation to fight pedriatic cancers. Find out how the Richi Foundation is bringing key stakeholders together and developing concrete programs, both in Spain and in the US, to foster patient and family support, philanthropy and innovation, better care, and scientific and medical excellence in the training of the Spanish pediatric cancer researchers and physicians of today and the future.

Registration is required. Please click "RSVP" (above) to sign up. The program will be in English and refreshments will be served.

We look forward to seeing you!
